CEC’s Latin Club is chartered through both the National Junior Classical League (NJCL) and the Kentucky Junior Classical League (KJCL), affording students who join the Latin Club membership to both organizations.
The Latin Club meets monthly after school and hosts various events throughout the year, such as toga laser tag and Christmas pajama breakfast.
The Latin Club is open to all students who have some background in Latin, but only current Latin students who maintain an A average in CEC Latin classes are eligible for the National Latin Honor Society, an honors organization affiliated with the NJCL.
