Boys Varsity & JV Basketball Coach
Gina Renfro has been an Educator for 19 years. She received her Bachelors of Elementary Education from Indiana University in 2001 and Master of Science in Education in 2005. She is a published author and publishes the Kentuckiana Kids’ Choice News, distributed to 40,000 students monthly. She has over 20+ years in small group and one-on-one tutoring. Gina has four children and has home educated for the last 12 years. At CEC, she will be teaching Geometry to high school students. Additionally, Gina will serve as the Varsity and JV Head Boys Basketball Coach.

B.S. Chemistry, University of Kentucky, 1968. Degree included 54 hours of chemistry, half of which were graduate level courses, 12 hours of Calculus, and 6 hours of post calculus mathematics. Twenty-eight years- experience as a senior technical manager for a Fortune 10 company. Managed a department comprised of numerous engineers, scientists, and business professionals. 13 years-experience as an advanced science and math instructor. Also serves as CEC Athletic Director.
