Cougars Basketball has done it again! On December 16th, Cougars hosted Owensboro Knights. Cougars Varsity, led by Nathan Johnson put on an offensive show. Johnson led the squad with an amazing 70 points! He beat Moore’s made 3 points in one game that was set earlier this month, dropping 16 made 3 point buckets! Johnson started to heat up early in the game and his teammates knew it. Running him off screens and using handoffs to get him the ball, Johnson made it look easy. To put this in perspective, the KHSAA record for made 3 point buckets in a game is 17, set in 1989. The shooting feats that the Cougars have pulled off this season is one for the record books. Congratulations to Nathan Johnson! Grit. Teamwork. Trust.
