Congratulations to Landry Feldmeier – Miss Kentucky Outstanding Teen, 2nd Runner up for Miss Outstanding Teen for the U.S.!
Second runner up to Miss America’s Outstanding Teen and the recipient of $7,500 in scholarship assistance is…. Kentucky, Landry Feldmeier! Earlier this summer, Landry competed in Miss Kentucky’s Outstanding Teen winning the title and two preliminary awards in talent and on-stage question for an additional $5,400 in scholarships. Just last month, she went on to represent Kentucky at Miss America’s Outstanding Teen where she placed 2nd runner up bringing her total scholarship award to just shy of $13,000. While the talent portion was her initial draw to the competition, she has learned to love the interview process and the personal skills gained from the experience. Another aspect of the organization is being able to promote a personal platform. Landry serves on the student advisory board for RAK Louisville and has adopted “Be Bold: Be Kind” as her social initiative. She will serve the Commonwealth throughout this next year as an ambassador for Fund for the Arts as well as promoting her personal platform and being a role model for young girls.
