English 8 Literature and Composition

The goal of this course is to develop student’s abilities to analyze and discuss the ideas of the gifted authors and leaders whose work make up 8th grade literature and to learn to share their own ideas in meaningful and compelling ways.
Designed for those who have a strong grammar background and desire to develop writing skills through essays, creative writing and a research paper.

Package of colored pens, Package of notebook paper, Binder with five dividers labeled as:  Divider One – Warm Ups, Divider Two – Author Notes/Rhetorical devices, Divider Three – Literature Questions, Divider Four – Compositions, Divider Five- Research Paper.
