Madeline Atwell won 2 Silver Keys for her oil paintings she submitted to the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Her oil paintings are titled “Remnants” and “Gallinule.” (Photos below) Remnants is a still life and Gallinule is an oil painting of a photo she took. Madeline has worked under the supervision of instructor Seth Fite with Louisville School of Painting for the past year. She has always had a passion for drawing, painting, photography, nature and sculpting. This is her second year winning an award through the Scholastic Art competition.
