At CEC, all student athletes (and those interested in sports) are encouraged to join the FCA “huddle”. FCA is a student led group aimed at encouraging the body of Christ through sports. Our student leadership squad plans meetings that ‘warm up’ with team bonding activities, witness through student testimonies, ‘work out’ with guest speakers and wrap up with prayer.
This school year the CEC FCA club will meet once each month to fulfill our mission of “leading every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.” With student testimonies, warm up games, guest speakers, and small groups, FCA is a great way to empower student leaders to grow stronger in their faith. FCA also offers opportunities to serve in our community—-using the platform of sports to share Jesus!
Outside monthly huddle meetings, FCA involves our CEC students in See You at the Pole, Sharing the Victory dinner, U of L Team outreach, CEC Coaches and Team encouragement and FCA Leadership Training, both locally and nationally.
