High School Art
High School Art: students will gain an understanding of color theory, right brain perception, perspective, drawing, painting, sculpting and art history. This class provides a sound foundation in the design principles and elements of art and a clear understanding of what is needed to create a good composition. Students will create their own original artwork using watercolors, oil pastels, acrylics, clay, wire, plaster, printmaking, graphite and more. This class will observe God as the ultimate creator and artist and will examine ways in which artwork can reflect his glory.
