This course uses an incremental approach to cover traditional second year algebra. Included concepts are roots of quadratic equations, logarithms, exponential equations, radicals, polar coordinates, complex numbers, graphing lines and parabolas, and trigonometric ratios.

    Texas Instruments TI-30Xa Scientific Calculator, or similar (no graphing calculators), pencils (no pens), lined paper, graph paper, ruler, compass, protractor, and a three-ring binder with dividers.

NOTE: Please do not purchase the solutions manual for this course. It is expensive and unnecessary. A simple answer key is all that is needed to grade the homework.
