The CEC baseball team, led by Coach Scott Dibble, lines up and plays one of the toughest schedules in CEC sports. They field a Middle School Varsity and JV team along with a High School Varsity and JV team. The program has helped multiple players over the years move on and play at the collegiate level. The team plays teams like Eastern, CAL, DeSales, PRP, South Oldham, and Shelby County annually. They also play a strong circuit of homeschool and independent schools. Home games and practices are held at Jtown Skyview and Veterans fields. The team uses Louisville Baseball Club for indoor winter practices. The team travels to Florida every other year during Spring break week.

30-35 Varsity per season and around 20 JV games – CECl plays one of the largest middle school schedules around: Games are any day of week besides Sundays and Wednesdays

CEC boasts multiple Homeschool World Series championships along with multiple Conference titles. The team boasts KHSAA wins over programs like KCD, HLS, Fairdale and Seneca. In 2025 the team lost 10-7 last year to state runner up and seven-time state champion PRP.
