CEC girls varsity volleyball traveled to Tennessee to compete in the NACA (National Association of Christian Athletes) national homeschool championship. These ladies went 6-0 on the week to secure first place in division 3. After dropping the first 2 sets in the best of 5 championship match, the cougars roared back to win the next 3 sets to defeat Ballard Christian from Auburn, Alabama and secure the title. Senior Haley Bertram led the way with 28 kills in the final, Sarah Bonura added 17 kills and junior Caylee Barber had 55 assists and 7 aces.
Haley and Sarah were both selected to the all tournament team. This tournament concludes a fantastic season in which these ladies won both tournaments they played (Caverna invitational and NACA) and finished the season 20-6.
