Recent graduate, Avery Mattingly, is one of two Louisville Rowing Club varsity rowers racing in women’s pair, competing in the U.S. Rowing Youth National Championship in Sarasota this June. Avery’s pair partner is recent South Oldham graduate, Addison Boren. This pair qualified with a thrilling first place win at the Midwest Junior Rowing Championship in Bethel, OH on May 18th. They train 5 days/week out of the Louisville Community Boathouse on the Ohio River. They are the first from LRC to qualify and compete on the national stage! In the fall, Avery will continue on as a student athlete on the UCO rowing team in Edmond, OK.
