Four team members competed on April 17, 2021, in the Optimist International Kentucky-West Virginia District’s Oratorical contest. CEC participants in this competition included: Evan Mitchell, Alyssa Scott, Isaac Sheets and Carmen Tate. The topic this year was: Healing the World With Optimism. Congratulations to Alyssa Scott, the third place district winner, receiving a $1,000 scholarship.
