This class is an exploration of the Old Testament with a focus on the storyline of God’s partnering with man to establish His kingdom. Assignments will ask students to engage Scripture with their imaginations (e.g. summarize Gen 1-11 in four pictures, retell Exod 1-14 as a song/poem) and their minds (e.g. compare/contrast David and Saul, make a story arc of Gen 37-50). Tests will cover big picture ideas, not specific details (dates, city names, verse references, etc.).

Paper and pen/pencil to be used for notetaking.
