Description:

This course uses an incremental approach to cover traditional second year algebra material along with a significant amount of geometric calculations and proof outlines. Included concepts are roots of quadratic equations, logarithms, exponential equations, radicals, polar coordinates, complex numbers, graphing lines and parabolas, and trigonometric ratios.

Supplies:

Pencils (absolutely no ink allowed for any math work); binder for math homework, tests, and quizzes; compass; protractor; theme book or loose- leaf paper for homework; graph paper; ruler; scissors.   A traditional engineering calculator with trigonometric and exponential functions. (TI-84 Series Preferred)
