More Information

CEC Robotics – “Blood, Sweat and Gears”

Do you love science and technology? The CEC Robotics Team is a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team with a shared interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) applications. We enjoy designing, building, and discussing strategies to compete in robot competitions. It is also rewarding to participate as ambassadors for the international program  “FIRST”—For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, in outreach events. Many of our team members plan to major in engineering or computer science in college.

The team’s motto, “Blood, Sweat and Gears,” is our purpose statement. Our faith is based on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ (blood), the hard work required to succeed at robotics (sweat), and (gears) representing the imagination, persistence and drive to create something that works. We hope you will be encouraged by our team’s enthusiasm, interest in STEM, and our ability to work together to solve real-world engineering problems.
